“And I raaaaaan, I ran so far awaaaaayy!”

(To Magnuson, then straight to the beer garden)

But for real, I have never run an official 5K before and would love to enjoy it with my BF.

My friend and I do this every year but haven’t got our registration completed yet.

  5. Patrick January 29, 2015 at 2:09 pm #

Because I have been flirting with running for long enough, time to commit.

  6. Hannah January 29, 2015 at 3:10 pm #

Would love to win these tickets and have a good excuse to run my first 5k since having a baby! I’d get my sister-in-law to run with me – she’s new to Seattle and it would be her first 5k in the city. :-)

  7. John January 30, 2015 at 12:58 am #

I would really like these for my son and his wife. They haven’t been running all winter. This would get them out there AND kindle a bit of flame. Win-Win!

  8. Danielle January 30, 2015 at 11:01 am #

I’ve been workin’ on my fitness this year and I’ve never done a 5K! This sounds fun, non-threating, and uplifting….just what I need around this time of year! Hook it up, pretty please :)

  9. Madelyn January 30, 2015 at 11:43 am #

I would LOVE to be chosen as this sounds awesome and would make V-Day that much better. Breaking a sweat, working my way around Green Lake with a gaggle of other sweaty love lorn runners is always enticing. Pick me Pick me!!! :)

  10. Krista January 30, 2015 at 3:32 pm #

My sweetie is training for a half…we’d love to partake!

  11. Jazz January 31, 2015 at 12:31 am #

    its on our bucket list!

  12. Charlie January 31, 2015 at 8:36 am #

Run, run, run, you can’t catch me, I’m the Valentine man! My girlfriend and I want to be part of this run!

  13. Taylor January 31, 2015 at 11:32 am #

We will run, but truthfully we are just in it for the beer garden! Cheers to all!

  14. Thomas G. February 1, 2015 at 11:03 am #

What better way to get our hearts pounding than to start off Valentine’s day with a run around Green Lake with my sweetie (followed by a beer)! :-) Would love to do this run with my wife.

  15. Beth G. February 1, 2015 at 11:13 am #

It would be super fun to start a new tradition with my hubbie and do a run for Valentine’s Day. Plus it will help balance the chocolate that we will eat later. :-)

  16. Brooke February 4, 2015 at 11:50 am #

Because it’s just the two of us this year, and luckily my son likes to run with his old ma!

  17. Mike February 4, 2015 at 3:29 pm #

Just moved to Seattle, and have my girlfriend visiting from the east coast. Shes never been here so I think this would be a very Seattle activity we could do together!

  18. Dave February 5, 2015 at 7:38 am #

I am training for my first marathon and usually work on my speed on Wednesdays, but I am having surgery on my eyelid on the 10th, so I will have to rest a few days. So this would make up for that and I hear it’s a great course for a fast 5K.
My wife is still getting back into shape after cancer treatment and would like to start running. This would be a fun run that should motivate her. When she first came to America from Turkey she stayed with her cousin and they often jogged around Green Lake, so this would be nostalgic for her.

  19. Keren Tangen February 5, 2015 at 11:10 am #

I’m new to Seattle and have never run in a 5k before. This would be a great opportunity for me and my partner to meet new people who are also passionate about the contradictory combination of a beer and fitness.

  20. Amy F. February 5, 2015 at 1:44 pm #

Sexy way to start V-day. Would love a run in such a picturesque setting with a group of fun people!

  21. Luke February 5, 2015 at 2:16 pm #

Would love to run this with my wife!

  22. Mark February 5, 2015 at 3:32 pm #

My wife would love to chase me around green lake!

  23. Sarah February 5, 2015 at 3:45 pm #

You bring the “Love” and I’ll bring the “Leave”… I’ll leave cupid in the dust, somewhere around the tunnel of love. Nah- I’d do anything for love, but I won’t do that. :)

  24. Eug February 6, 2015 at 12:57 pm #

Being able to participate 2/14/15 would result in: green lake+my love+run+beer+lil’ nookie=1 year old baby “sasha” at the 2/14/16 Valentine’s Day Dash.

  25. Nancy February 8, 2015 at 11:42 am #

My BF and I did a 5K St Pattys Day run last year for charity. We ended up loving it for the fresh air, comraderie, and better health. Since then, we haven’t been able to do anything like that since we work a lot. This would be our first chance this year to get the fire burning again and kick off better health for the year 2015!

  26. sambo February 8, 2015 at 12:55 pm #

I love the idea of a beer at 9am!
Its a great way to start the day!

  27. Mark Micarelli February 9, 2015 at 12:35 pm #

I would love to win this. My partner and I finally have the same day off

  28. Supon Srivilai February 9, 2015 at 12:36 pm #
