The B-town Beat features visual art, live music, spoken word and dance performances. The artists and performers will be new every month, so plan on coming out every first Thursday!
Every month a few dozen different venues in downtown Burien host visual art, dancing, live music, poetry, photography or crafts for you to check out. The event itself is completely free and is made possible through the hard volunteer work of the B-Town Beat planning and donations by participants and local Burien businesses.
This is a family friendly event and everyone is welcome. Parents with young children are especially encouraged to check out the many community canvases and head over to the King County Library on the corner of SW 152nd St and 4th Ave SW to participate in one of their very popular kids craft projects.
There will be plenty of free parking along SW 152nd & 153rd St.
The event takes places from 6pm to 9pm which leaves plenty of time to grab dinner at one of the many eateries participating and located in downtown Burien.
