Starting in July, The Woodland Park Zoo is open once again so that we can share the joys of wildlife together. Starting June 22, you’ll be able to reserve timed entry for your next visit to the zoo. Get started at zoo.org/visit

Before you reunite with your favorites like siamangs Sam and Bagus, meet the summer babies, and admire your selfies on sunny afternoons, here are the essential tips for a safe, healthy and fun visit:

🦓 Reserve a timed-entry ticket: All visitors and members MUST reserve an entry time to visit the zoo to assure a safe number of guests and social distancing. Your exit is not timed. Guests should avoid arriving earlier than 5 minutes prior to their entry time.

🗺️ Plan ahead at www.zoo.org/visit to map out your visit and discover all the new safety measures for people and animals alike.

😷 Wear a face covering: For health and safety, all guests and staff will be required to wear a face covering. Face coverings are recommended for children aged 3-5, and required for everyone over 5 years old. Thank you for keeping us all healthy during your visit.

🐺 Explore with your pack along a new, one-way path. If you need help remembering how far six feet is when social distancing, you can imagine an adult tapir, from tail to snout, or our boa, Anahi, stretched all the way out!

🏢 Indoor buildings and most high-touch areas will be closed for safety, and keeper talks and programs are temporarily paused to minimize group gatherings. Thanks for understanding!

📷 Show off your love for our animals, they missed you too! Use #ThisIsHowWeZoo and #WoodlandParkZoo to show off your visit and let others know what to expect.
We are so excited to see you soon! Visit zoo.org/visit to plan your return.
